Listen, the players have given up on him. Its obvious. They are flat. For the best part of a year or longer, performances, both individually and as a team, bar the odd exception, have regressed massively.
Footballers are selfish; they will rather get up for the semi final knowing what is at stake than a game where its in effect now meaningless, especially when they don't like there boss.
There is nothing idiotic about it. Its why there is cup upsets; what can the likes of Bradford manager coach to his players when they beat Chelsea? Do you think the Shrewsbury manager tactically outwitted us and helped his players beat us many years ago?
They wanted it more. If it was down to managers then we wouldn't be in a semi final as results have proven we cant win many games under this manager.
Its about desire, motivation and luck. I would add organisation in but there is none of that, hence why I haven't included it and wont as this regime cant organise a team to be set up and be hard to beat .
If you think these players are going to be 'inspired' and 'coached' by Martinez in the semi final to the extent that it is the difference between winning and losing then your wrong.
