If we continue our up turn in performance and still get beat I would give him a bit longer
The worry for me is getting into a relegation scrap with these players they are not used to it.
We have also got into a habit of not winning and need to break that habit.
If after the next 4 games we are in the bottom 4 he needs to go but hopefully we will have won 3 of them
That'll be too late. It would mean we'd probably gone another 4 games without a win. Why would anyone give him any longer?

I do love the way Bobby celebrates a goal, seemed really up for the game last night and looked like he was kicking every ball. If a manager cares about us that much, I care about him too. He needs time and a slight change in philosophy and address this ridiculous weakness at set pieces.

He sees every goal as postponing the sack, no wonder he jumps up now like that.

For me last night was more down to the players rolling up their sleeves than RM offering anything which for me he did not.

Seem to remember back in previous threads or posts, never had the players practising corners to take or defend them, handling set pieces, did not believe they merited the time on the training pitch.

Looking at our performances compared to last year, you have to say Martinez out. We are not performing anywhere near the heights of last season, many will put it down to 'being found out' or 'second season syndrome' - but whatever the reason is it's very worrying because not once this season have we looked as defensively solid last year, or as much of an attacking-imposing threat.

Too often this year we are having to rely on the brilliance of an individual to turn a game for us or to create a goal, i'm looking at you super Kev for this here example, instead of having the confidence as a team to produce. Amongst this we've also over-hyped a lot of our younger players, or the media have, creating a seemingly hostile environment for them at the moment because of how much most Everton fans expect of them, and probably had a detrimental effect on some of our players.

This ultimately has been a benefactor that has led to our poor results, which are very poor results. With saying all this, last night I took pride in how we played, just like I did against West Ham in the first game and against Man City on the weekend, however reflecting on it - we've just been knocked out of the cup when we were in a strong position to win the game despite our earlier shenanigans. This is somewhat of a let down, and whilst we are improving, I in particular am finding it hard to see our next victory. Something needs to change.

Different football styles, philosophies, tactics whatever you want to call it. Should have built on last season but changed everything for wika waka football.

So when they play well its all about the players, Martinez offered nothing

But when they play bad its all the manager, The players are held back by his negative tactics

You are expanding what I said into all games that is not the case I was referring to last night only. Interesting you are now a fan of RM.

If you think the utter bile I have been posting this last month is genuine then more fool you

Funny seeing who likes such tosh though

Thats alright I will just ignore all your comments in future as you are about as reliable as a Reliant Robin.

PS it is more fool you, take a look in a mirror.

Last season we were generally playing well but we nevertheless had difficulty getting over the line to win matches. We drew far too many. This season we're playing poorly and so not surprisingly we're winning far fewer. RM has got to do what he even failed to do last season and start finding ways to win tight games. QPR at home apart, there are no gimmes in the league for anyone this season. If he fails to find ways of doing so we're in deep s**t.
