Our players need to do their job, he needs to do his.

The fact that we did sod all doesn't give him license to turn in a shocking performance like that.

I didn't say it did: as I mentioned I believed it was an atrocious performance that 'didn't help.

However, I think some people will get fixated on this and ignore the fact we were ourselves pretty poor. The latter is more of a concern to me.

you and I know the slagging of Martinez is not in the majority of any thread, its mainly people getting called kneejerkers or whatever, im sure that vote on sack or not was like 400 to 40 in favour of keeping him

I say it again, the Professional Game Match Officials Board is a private company making it's members a profit. They are not scrutinised by any external body. It's deregulation of the game in England and you get - just as in other areas of business in this country - dodgy dealings that benefit corporate giants. In the football world we all know who they are in this PL.

They are as bent as a nine bob note, imo.
