Marko Arnautovic

11 goals and 6 assists from the wing, a little bit of an x factor about him, a maeverick, have no problem here. Im thinking of it as a Pienaar replacement.

Yeh he's a class act on his day. More Mirallas-esque than Pienaar though really. A bit more strength and power about him though.

If we sign him, it's fine by me, but tbh I do think we already have a layer that offers very similar in Kev.

I think you have far too much time on your hands and a huge obsession with me.

I am here and full of opinions - deal with it or put me on ignore :)
No chance. You are my project.

If you come on here just to wind people up and disrespect this place I'm going to bring you down.

in no way is he a similar player to Pienaar mate...

The Pienaar replacement is what we need. I thought Mata may have been the solution but that seems to have cooled off. Arnautovic would be decent cover for any of the front positions but would still prefer Mirallas or Del to be starting.

I think hes a step up on Cleverly and Pienaar if im honest and more of an inside forward, then a convential winger like McGeady and arguably Del, who i tink will develop into an indie forward though.

I like his style, hes a bit of a maverick. Creative players have been in short supply at Everton over the past 20 years, id sign him on style alone and ability to do something out of nothing. 11 goals and 6 assists, is good currency in the PL, pens as well.

Sorry that I am not getting excited about Arnautovic mate. He isn't good enough.

Witsel's attitude stinks and Mata is staying at Man Utd.

They aren't opinions though - they are facts.

Do you fancy showing us these facts?? Really waiting for the one about witsel; how are you two so close whereby you know what he's like in person?

We know Koeman is partial to 2 men up front and has often had a "runner" up front (ie Shane Long). I think this would really suit Mirallas who has pace and the ability to finish. I remember early into Martinez's tenure against Chelsea he had a cameo up front and looked dangerous. I was always surprised Martinez didn't use him more there as he was far more a Martinez striker than Kone ever was.

If we were to get Arnuatovic it may also allow us to move on what I consider some of the deadwood (ie Lennon, Mcgeady and Cleverley) and hopefully recoup more than we have paid.

I would have no problems if we moved Niasse and Kone on moving Mirallas and Deulofeu to be strikers as they would both be good options. In some games if Rom's not at his best, with Arnuatovic they could play as a 2/3 and cause real headaches for sides.
Forward 3 of Lukaku Kev and Del

You seem to be struggling with the basic definitions of opinion and fact.

There are plenty of reasonable quality online dictionaries that are free to access that may help you out. Try to avoid wiki type resources as they may have just been edited by some belter on a wind up and we wouldn't want you to look like that also.

Could be a sign that koeman wants pace in depth though mate, he'd give that for sure

My first thouht was a no no.
But thinking about it, I think he's the type to do well in a good team. He's a Koeman type of player, he seems to like big strong players and he fits in there.
Good for set pieces too, both attacking and defensively, at the price I'll go for yes.

I think a lot of our transfers hinge on Koeman's desired formation come the start of the season. It's generally acknowledged he prefers 4-2-3-1 but we didn't see that at all vs Barnsley.

I can see that being an option in games definitely. I can also see Either Del/Mirallas partnering Lukaku up front as a 2. They would do a lot of the link up play and running for him.
It would also provide flexibility.

They could start in midfield as 4-5-1, switching to up front as and when appropriate, still leaving 3 players in midfield so as not be overrun.

Say, this could be an exciting year.
