You'd prefer the source to be The Echo?
I think I would only ever believe anything once they're at Finch Farm having that usual picture next to the big badge.

Are we now allowed to buy players from clubs like Bayern or Barca only ?Buying Stoke players.
We're a big deal though...![]()

Out of our league. What's worse is I don't even think we are buying Stoke players.
A mate of mine is a Stoke STH so I asked him on Facebook what this guy is like as he has an honest judgement of his own players:
"The way modern football is now, £12.5 million would be a bargain for Marko. In his first two seasons with us ( 13-14 & 14-15 ) he blew hot and cold, devastating some weeks and ineffective the next. Last season though was definitely his breakthrough season for us. 11 goals and 6 assists and arguably our best outfield player of the season, we finally saw the consistency we've been waiting to see from him. He's very much two footed in my opinion but he mainly plays on the left for us as an inverted winger and loves cutting in on his right foot and making runs in behind defences, he's very hard to play against with his pace and strength. He's definitely what you would call a maverick, temperamental at times and occasionally neglects his defensive duties, on his day though he's capable of terrorizing the best defenders in the league. I think he'd add a lot to your Everton squad but obviously I'm hoping we can resolve his contract situation and he'll stay put. His brother ( who is also his agent ) was at our training ground for talks today. Personally I think if he does leave us it will be abroad rather than another Premier League club but time will tell."

It's about how the player adapts to the system rather than the "name"; koeman is paid £6m a year to know these things
What time will the first "we can't sign him because we have a game today" excuse turn up then? I'll say 11:50am
Someone's already said it.
It's about how the truth about moshi's millions are slowly coming out.
Expectations being heightened to maximise ST sales and then slowly the targets drop out and we tell ourselves "oh he's not an everton player, he's overpriced etc etc"
Deadline day we will see Stones and Lukaku out, someone like this bum in and a couple of loans and then we'll tell ourselves "we do it the right way, we're everton"
So sadly predictable.
