2025/26 Mark Travers

Not at fault for either of the goals, didn't make any other errors beyond that, distributed the ball well

Show me where he did bad
First goal is put back into the centre of the goal

Second goal he is indecisive and comes only half way out meaning the forward could lift the ball easily into the centre of the goal

Are they howlers? No

Should he do better ? Absolutely yes

He played poorly and they are soft goals

I reckon I would have saved the second one, the lad dinked it about 3 foot high into the centre of the goal. Was dreadful goalkeeping.
Hard to save that when he decided to sit on his arse before the striker even shot at goal .... plus the first goal was down to Coleman losing the scorer .... but the Keeper should have pushed it out to the corner flag ....

Ya joking ain't ya?

First one is a great reaction save from a snap shot going Top Corner that he palms away wide. Only the most deluded football fan would expect a keeper to do better there. The fault for that goal rests in the lack of defence coordination both in the build up and with McNeill not covering the defensive position at the back post to clear it.

The second goal the striker is clean through and has all the time in the world to pick his spot. The fault rests with Keane and Garner there. You expect a striker to score in those situations, and if the keeper saves it you give props. But a failure to save it doesn't warrant criticism. Basically a penalty

Give your head a wobble, just trying to find fault for the sake of it

This is a weird post that doesn’t at all reflect what happened.
