2025/26 Mark Travers

I remember him having a great game against us on the last day of the season in 2023, where only that worldie from Doucoure got past him.

Obviously, playing for us is a very different kettle of fish.

No. People are just looking for reasons to wind themselves up.

He was fine. Pickford would've been a better choice but he's one of the best around.
First goal was a great reaction save. Keane caught ball watching for the initial ball in behind and then flinched at the rebound, making himself as small as possible. Tarkowski nowhere to be seen

Second goal was a Garner mistake and then Keane was caught ball watching in the middle of the park, Tarkowski didn't spot the danger and follow the runner. Good finish in a 1 on 1 situation

Not to blame at all was he!

Pickford would have done better with both. The first goal is a terrible basic error to put the ball back into the centre of the goal. There's no point saying he did fine when he was extremely poor. The second goal was just floated over him into the centre of goal. He made the strikers mind up by his positioning.

1st goal I can excuse, if Mcneil follows the unmarked man right infront of him instead of standing and watching its cut out easily.

Second one he comes forward a little, thinks about coming to claim, eventually decides not to and tries to reposition too late. Pickford in particular would have raced out and collected the loose ball or made himself too close and too big to be chipped.

Pickford is one of the best one on one keepers in the league, second only to Mordor's own

He could have done better, but he's definitely not to blame. Credit to the finish imo

Loool the first goal is a class, instinctive save from a snap shot. Watch it back, the shot comes out of nowhere, is hit at pace and is going Top Corner.

Second one he could do better, but he's not at fault. The goal comes from a Garner and Keane mix up

Get a grip

It went to the LB position where Coleman had vacated tracking his runner, because the two CBs were ball watching.

The second goal was a through ball that split about 4 players. Tarkowski was ow covering and Travers had no real option but to close the gap with the attacker. It's a good finish..

First one he should have tipped it over the bar/wide for a corner. Play the %. It made no sense to parry it back into the danger zone. Second goal Pickford would have been more decisive with his decision and either cleared the ball or made himself bigger and harder to lob.. I would back Pickford to have prevented at least one of the goals, perhaps both on a really good day.
