He should have replaced Tim Howard in his last 2 seasons as Tim star jump lost the plot -

To be fair very few people are actually doing this. A couple of people have mentioned that it's rare for us to spend money like that and that hopefully it's a sign we have more money than expected, but not many people are actually complaining as far as I can see.

Personally I think people are going slightly overboard about his level. He's a typical number number 2 at this level really, which is absolutely fine. I've seen suggestions it's a big step up from previous years which i'm not sure is true. Begovic had just been Championship keeper of the year and had loads of PL experience, Olsen had 50 international caps and was signed from being a regular in Serie A, Robles had just been a number 1 in the PL and won the FA Cup etc. He's about the level I expected us to sign, I just assumed it would be a free rather than paying for someone, but that's not a criticism just an observation.

Robles was a decent keeper to be fair to him. Not spectacular but decent.

Centre of a lake catching Carp only BK could give him a 3 year deal & TH played 45 minutes best carp fisherman going - plus did he turn up on the farewell to Goodison? Maybe a good servant but sentiment like other players took over .. under BK- at least this Keeper is a good purchase!
