To be fair as it stands he’s both our backup keeper and our starting RW so it’s very good value for money.

He'll be on more wages. Could try his luck as first choice in championship for considerably less. But it's a short career and this contract will probably set him up for life.

I would imagine just the same as anyone really. He’s been given the opportunity to make a move to a bigger club with better facilities where he’ll probably get paid more and get a longer contract. It’s really not in any way a strange move for him to make.

That is true and I should add that we have a small Irish contingent in Coleman and O'Brien who may have played their part too.
