Been elected party leader of the Liberal party currently in govt.

Same as Brown, Truss, Sunak etc. becoming PM. He may call a snap election as the Liberal party is struggling after 15-odd years in power and not expected to win the next election, but the Trump factor may be an opportunity to look firm and get a short-term bounce in the polls.
