Shocked that Manchester United would prefer to pay his wages to not even sit on the bench, rather than loan him to us. Part of me us happy we didn't get him, but part of me is concerned about depth at centre half. We do have a few players that can cover there but not the same as someone true for that position
Yeah, United played hardball with us and lost. They certainly should have let him go on loan to us when we were adamant about not buying.

True. Surely a loan would have benefitted everyone? They now have too many centre backs and presumably all of them are on good wages too. Suppose a foreign club might take Rojo.
