Who ever said he was going to be an amazing signing for us. Nobody did. He's back up and probably fourth choice here,and is a relatively cheap option who Silva knows from past experience. I know its only your 'opinion' and youre entitled to it, but personally I'm quite prepared to wait and see how he performs if he gets a chance
There seems to be disagreement on here as to whether Silva & Rojo have worked together before. Is it relevant though?Thats the one saving grace here, namely Silva has worked with him before (and got a tune out of him) and seems a manager who is fairly loyal to past players. If it's a loan then thats fair enough. It's clear Mina/Keane are the preferred 2 at the back.

Seriously I would have taken Gary Cahill before Rojo. It’s a desperate signing for the previous regime, not a signing you’d associate with this one.
