So Digne is third choice?! Wow well it makes me sad if Shaw was above most anybody.
Have also seen £30m reported as well.

I don't understand why we didn't sign him then. From everything I read Celtic were prepared to let him go.
If he's one of two centre halves coming in then great. No Keane, Jagielka or Williams at centre back (assuming we play two). If he's the only one, it'll be pretty disappointing.
If he's not more than 15-18m or so, AND there's also a second centre half coming in, then I could potentially begrudgingly accept this. But I have never rated Rojo. And I don't think he's long term the answer. Short time yeah maybe, but then so are most top flight defenders compared to Jags Keane and Williams. I dunno. Not convinced this is sensible at all.
Also, Smalling is far far better than Rojo, and far far better than he is given credit for.

If that were true then it is reasonable business. Allows for to CBs for the price of Mina (or possibly Rojo and Mina...)
