If he's one of two centre halves coming in then great. No Keane, Jagielka or Williams at centre back (assuming we play two). If he's the only one, it'll be pretty disappointing.

If he's not more than 15-18m or so, AND there's also a second centre half coming in, then I could potentially begrudgingly accept this. But I have never rated Rojo. And I don't think he's long term the answer. Short time yeah maybe, but then so are most top flight defenders compared to Jags Keane and Williams. I dunno. Not convinced this is sensible at all.

If that were true then it is reasonable business. Allows for to CBs for the price of Mina (or possibly Rojo and Mina...)

Rojo will improve us slightly but yer think smalling is very solid
