Only played 9 games last season (accumulated 6 yellows) after doing his cruciate last April. Should be better options out there.

Don't want this fella, but have no idea where they've plucked this £30m price tag from!
They signed him for £14m, he hasn't done much and he's entering the last year of his contract, Marcel is too clever to go for that isn't he?

It’s certainly time to prove it! Our fees are making us a laughing stock.

Wouldn’t be bothered if it was about £8m but yeah rather someone else.

He signed a new contract in March.

No no on Rojo

I mean fer feffs 'sake the man is a walking talking red card.
He has 6 career red cards and none since he joined United. Granted he probably should have had a couple and only got away with it because he was on United but that still is probably 1 a season which is not great and at the same time is acceptable if he can actually defend. That's where I have my doubts

Just smacks of journos picking out prem players that have worked with Marco before to create a story out of nothing. I’d rather have Phil Jones than this guy and that’s saying something. Should test Utd resolve and go for Bailly

He's definitely a left sided defender. He's also a complete lunatic and a criminal. We could use a bit more snide, but this dude has legit problems.
I like him already then. We've been too nice for too long.

Silva managed Rojo at Sporting

If it's who Brands / Silva want... then I will go with it.

Eat that.
Saint Jose has rated him in the past. That is good enough for me.
Fair enough then.

I'm not hugely thrilled with this move but I'll present an argument for him...

2 seasons ago he started out of the preferred team and was brought in after a 4-0 defeat to Chelsea. There were 22 United league games in which he played 90 minutes 20 times before he did his cruciate. United won 11 and drew 9 of those 20 conceding just 11 goals. He returned from injury in November for two games, both wins, before he had to go off injured. He only missed 1 game because of that and never got a chance to play consistently afterward.

In summary Rojo's last run of consistent play in the Premier League coincided with fantastic defensive and overall form from his team

Should have seen red against us didn't he? I forget which game.
