There should be toxic abuse if he's gone or not. He wasn't the only one responsible for last night. The players did their but in the humiliation and our board are more to blame then anyone. Even if he's gone, I hope Goodison is vile. Being horrible is the only thing that seems to get through to the idiots who run us.

Yep, this is on Moshiri, Kenwright and Brands now as far as I'm concerned

I said a few weeks ago Silva was as good as gone, but I believe they didn’t want to go down the Unsworth path again and Silva would continue until his replacement was available, but he simply has to go now regardless of where they are at in finding his replacement

100% it's all very easy to blame the manager and players (and they deserve it) but at some point people have to start looking deeper at our problems.

I reckon that years from now (maybe even less) more then a few of our ex managers will lift the lid on life at Goodison and it's gonna be one horrifying read.

What decent manager would take the job after the board had allowed Silva to take the club to an even darker place than we are in now.

You could just as easily have added a full stop after 'job' in your sentence above. On a related note I'm also concerned that moshri maybe thinking that Everton is now beyond saving /his wealth and I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to sell his stake and take a loss now rather than invest ever more 10s of millions (fair play to him that has down so far).

Marco Silva sacked today. New manager appointed on Friday. Big Dunc takes charge for the Chelsea game whilst the new manager watches what he has to work with from the stands, then starts his new reign fully on Monday.

Either that or we'll sack Silva after the Chelsea game.

it's almost shameful to be an Evertonian. I meet customers across the country daily and the look of pity I get when I tell them I'm a blue is really doing my head in.

I was done with Silva after Sheff Utd where we were atrocious, but then gave him a of leeway after West Ham which was best performance of the season.

But there can be no more excuses, the board has to act and give us a chance of getting some points out of our upcoming home games.
