I have not said much in regards to the debate of Silva being shunted or not , hoping that he would turn the corner and get it right , I actually like him , he seems to have the club and supporters best interests at heart , when he and the team gets it right its a joy to watch , he is also young , I believed deserved more time and the benefit of the doubt
Unfortunately after Saturday losing to Norwich especially in the manner how we performed he is on borrowed time with no way back , the team lacked everything against a poor side , this has been a major issue this season and unacceptable particularly against teams you would expect an easy win .
The old issues with Hull and Watford followed him to Everton with no apparent solution , it seems he is out of his depth , Defensively poor , inconsistent form , a lack of being able to counter an opposition system when found out , lacks confidence and goes into a sulk when it gets tough , makes lame excuses !
The unfortunate issue IMO is the players and board are as much blame , but the buck stops with the manager , like Potch and Emery recently to mention a few found are finding out the Premier League takes no prisoners .
The problem is were too now - we sack Silva and bring in someone else , who has to work with squad of players , from Koeman and Walsh , and a numbers of players brought in by Silva , also the same back room staff whom I have my doubts about their positive input - which decent Manager is going to take on such a perilous challenge ?
I only can keep on hoping Everton comes out of this , as supporters we deserve it after years of toil and frustration and the norm of the R/S going from strength to strength at the same time were going downhill - Everton That !
