The worrying thing is, we can give him time to turn it around , give him another month or two.

But unless he starts winning and winning regularly , we stay bottom 3. If we draw against West ham and stop the rot as it were, all it takes is the teams above us to draw and we stay there.

God forbid Norwich wins and we lose....

It's only 8 games into a season but most.of.us know it isn't getting any better. The stats don't lie

I imagine that they'll give Silva the opportunity to lose to West Ham before sacking him, and only then will someone at the club realise that they could have spent the previous two weeks sounding out potential replacements.

With a bit of foresight, we could have got the pretending to be in for Allegri and Mourinho phase out of the way by Friday.

I would imagine we started sounding people out once that first Sheff Utd goal went in.

I know people have a low opinion of some people at the top, but its silly to assume they just sit and think everythings fine, no need to worry.

The frustrating thing is that it is inevitable he is going to be sacked at some point this season. Even if we beat West Ham and Brighton, if we go and lose two on the bounce, he’s right back under pressure.

He needs to go and it needs to be now.

Get an interim manager in if we have to, because the thought of a season of Silva isn’t worth thinking about.

Everton is about to dismiss trainer Marco Silva and they already know who should be his successor. Technical director Marcel Brands wants to make PSV-trainer Mark van Bommel hot for a transition.
In the past, Brands did not want to go shopping at PSV, but in the long run nothing to exclude. In England, one thinks that Van Bommel can become a concrete target once Silva is actually on the streets.

With seven points from eight duels, Everton stands in the relegation zone of the Premier League. The Liverpool club would now consider intervening. Incidentally, there are also fans who demand the dismissal of the Dutchman with a view to the currently disappointing purchasing policy.

“Once Silva is on the streets”

Haha made laugh that one.

sounds like a bit of the ol lazy journalism.

Pretty much, if he was the right man for the job we wouldn't be in the bottom 3 (even if it is only temporary)....

My main worry is the damage this is now doing for next season also... This is making us look small time again, so it's going to become harder to attract players in the January and summer windows.... Also players like Digne, he is gonna start thinking about how many years of his career he's willing to waste with us...

We gambled on a young manager with no real proven record, we hoped we might be getting another pochettino... The gamble has failed....

That's so funny, like he's being kicked out of his house.
