We haven’t won at Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool since the 90s and have only one victory against Man Utd since the early 90s.

We haven’t won at Spurs in 11 years and at Man City in 9 years.

It’s actually disgraceful at this point. We’re an embarrassment to top flight professional football.

Spurs losing at home doesn’t give us a free pass. We put in a horrific performance and we’ve started the season poorly. This, coupled with some of the rubbish served up last season, has gitters creeping in and they are fully reasonable.

We aren't an embarrassment to top flight football ffs, stop being so melodramatic

Also shows how a fancy foreign name and gelled hair can sway some supporters.

If he was called Mark Smith or even Samuel Alladyce and put in some of the performances like Friday night or 3 months of last season certain posters backing him would be demanding him OOT
That performance was literally better than any Sam Allardyce performance. But hey, he got a point at Anfield getting outshot 23-3 and conceding 82% possession.

What would you call that record?

Really bad, but when you've got teams on the brink of being put out of league football over finances with many regular public staff not being paid, it kinda puts things into perspective does it not? What's more embarrassing losing a few football games or being run badly by corrupt men that you, in one case, haven't played a single game this season and in another been forced to play a largely youth team in each game and shipped 5 goals 3 games running

What a ridiculous comparison.

No it’s not, a person’s livelihood far far outweighs a bloody game of football
There’s people dying on the street, so therefore that makes Bury’s plight irrelevant because it’s a bloody game...

Everyone can make ridiculous comparisons.

I’m talking about Everton’s record away to top teams and it is embarrassing. The club is a predictable and every season is interchangeable.

Im not suggesting we could attract a world class manager - but surely the likes of Mancini, Erik Ten Hag, Rudi Garcia maybe even Mourinho who's stock has fallen.

Someone better than a bloke who's only achievement is winning the Greek League and relegating Hull.

Well I'll take on each question. Mancini for me is completely the wrong type of manager for us. His last 3 jobs he's bombed at (Gala, Zenith and Inter). In truth he has bombed in all jobs (Lazio & Fiorentina too) apart from Inter the first time and City. In both jobs he had the biggest budgets in the league available to him. I just don't see the fascination with him. I suppose you could could make an argument we are similar to City when he arrived and initially he took them to the next level. For me though he would be a big risk.

As for Garcia I actually quite like him as a suggestion. He did well at Lille (who are similarish to us) though he did seem to fall away there as time went on. Likewise at Roma he performed well, and they are a big club, so good experience there. Again though the guy massively bombed in his last job at Marseille didn't he? (Albeit after a promising start). Lost something like 13 in 22 games. So again some risk there.

I like Ten Hag, he would obviously be on any shortlist for a manager we could have. I'd like to think we could get him.

Overall though I think you are harsh on Silva. See what happened to Huddersfield last season, Hull were in worse shape than them and he gave them a fighting chance. He did well there. In most jobs he's been at he has left them in a better position than he inherited. If improvements don't continue we can ask questions, but 3 games is much too early. We also have to be realistic enough to say he has improved us thus far.

Walcott had all the time in the world to take a touch, set himself and slot
No that was not an easy chance, yes. Pro footballer should do better, but Harry Kane (for example) would have struggled to put that away. On the other hand DCL chance, I’m sure Kane would have slotted that away.

We’re not an embarrassment to top flight footy, but our record against those teams you mention is disgraceful and embarrassing.
