Thought the move to take Sigurdsson out of the hole and onto the right in our build up was quite astute, as it threw them. They had thought being really compact and crowding that area out with most of their XI would nullify us. And it probably would have because they're very good at it.

Well done today.

We’re amazing at home. I really enjoy going to the game. Not sure what he does, but his record in Portugal and Greece at home games was similarly great.

Good win today however Jose called it spot on RE the defence - you want Mina challenging the first ball not the second as that caught us out alot.

Made up we shut those jarg Brummie clowns up.

We had a strong personality'

Everton manager Marco Silva speaking to BBC Match of the Day:

It was a good competitive match and we deserved the three points. We started well and I didn’t like the way we conceded but we always showed a fantastic reaction.

If you look at our match at Aston Villa we did well for the first 20-25 minutes. Different game at Goodison we started strongly and then had a strong personality to come back when they scored. Wolves came here to be solid and go at us on the counter attack.
We didn’t give their wing-backs a lot of space to threaten us so we controlled things really well."

On Fabian Delph, Alex Iwobi and Moise Kean:

They did really well. I prefer to look at the team rather than individuals. For Fabian and Alex it is easier because they know the Premier League. We are talking about high quality players. They know the league, intensity and the opponents.

Moise did well but we are talking about a boy who was 19 in February. He worked well but he needs more time to adapt to know the players, teams and even the referees."

Thats the thing - no one is doubting our home form against the better sides - its the away games or against teams who come here putting 10 behind the ball that we consistently slip up on.

We have beaten the top sides last season here and have just done it again -great but I also want to see us going away to teams like Palace and Villa and blow them away full pelt for 90 minutes - thats when I can say he's learning/developing.

Shall we over react like the Silva haters did halfway through the Lincoln game!

We've just beaten a superb wolves team which is astonishing as wolves are like Barca, if the board don't give Silva a 15year deal after that then they need their heads checking!

Probably the best decision on the day. He was able to fire in balls all day long and it payed off. Would like to see more of that from him

The most important thing is that we are now beating teams around us, we have to quality to beat the "top 6", just need to break down the bottom table teams, iwobi will be key to that

Good changes today stating Delph, Iwobi and Kean. Substitution of DCL and Bernard changed things up well.

I do wish he would be more proactive making substitutions, he seems to have a premeditated idea of who and when he's going to make substitutions rather than when the game requires them.
