I think we have a great locker room because of him, but I don’t think he has enough fire to get his guys motivated. I don’t want to bank on us being ahead for the next 35 games to win anything.

In his defense, it may be as simple as getting Kean and Iwobi integrated. We can only hope.

I don't think that at all. He seems like a Mourinho without aaaany of the skill or nous. He's a really dour manager that acts like that for no reason.

I have the solution, I really do.

Kean starts up-front with Richarlson.

Iwobi, Davies, Gomes/Delph, Bernard in midfield.

That way all our best players start. Richarlison is not a winger but might work well with Kean.

Davies adds energy and gets around and can pass the ball forward. Iwobi is now a cert to start. and finally we have a team that can attack.

Gbamin is now out for months so Silva has to be imaginative. The team needs pace, quicker passing and relationships. This team might do it.

Brands buys the players. It’s common knowledge we wanted another CB and chased another CM before the window closed. Given the current squad and injuries his options are limited. There not a player in the first XI who can’t go up a level from Friday night. Hopefully we improve over the next few games

I’m trying not to think/acknowledge that he’s currently troubling first team selection. He should have been finished the day he and Mirallas were sent home from training.

I see a fair few people have started to turn on him already. They watched that game on Friday night with bated breath and it must have felt like a shot of adrenaline when that first goal went in, with pure elation to follow the final whistle.
