Can’t remember a time when so many Prem managers were ‘under pressure’......Poch, Emery and QuiQue all just gone, OGS, Marco, Hassenhutl. Just what are these owners expecting? I have no idea who we could bring in, some of the shouts in here are mental.

Under this man, those were the days

It’s true.

He built a very hard working team who battled until the end on most occasions.

Now we have a team of ‘individuals’ who rarely look arsed or go missing for 90% of games. There’s no structure to our teams, no system, no tactics, no defensive organisation. Absolutely nothing. I never thought I would long for those days under Moyes again I realise now how much I took them for granted.

This is no way me advocating a return of David Moyes btw. We are in a different completely era now, football has changed a lot since he was here, we as a club and fan base have moved on, the league itself is completely different in terms of competition for places.

I absolutely respect what he did for our club. I felt he should have left in 2009 after the Cup final because we’d reached a ceiling point with him. I was actually happy when he left because I honestly thought we would be able to progress a lot more with a manager who had fresh ideas and a different approach. Little did I foresee any of the travesty that has happened since he left ever occurring.

The “after the derby” talk seems weird to me, but then there is no chance he should have been in charge for this game so no doubt it’s spot on.

Stupid though, when all a new manager would need is a decent performance against that lot to win the fans over. We’d probably still get snotted but we’d be looking forward to a new era rather than us all resigning ourselves to another hammering because we haven’t got a clue what we’re doing.
