Let them have their moment in the sun remember a couple of years ago after the Payet season and ground move we had all the West Ham fans in here telling us they were going to challenge for top 4 and trophies and we would never finish above them again...

I just think it’s hilarious how these teams start having a good season and suddenly fans think they’re this great force, totally blind to the myriad of other teams and fans who have done the exact same thing. Overachieved.

Genuinely amused by these Watford fans rubbing up against us. Enjoyed a season or two in the big boy league and it goes to their head. Typical of the English small town ferret clubs.

I live down south so I'm around a lot more fans of other clubs than probably most on here and I was already being given the big one by a Newcastle fan this year after they had a decent start to the season!

I remember when Martinez and Koeman were going to Barcelona If we didn’t get them tied down to new contracts. He’s been in the league all of about five minutes, he hasn’t experienced hardship yet

Watford have had a good start to the season, but is this going to continue all season ?
We have seen plenty of teams start well and after a while they begin to fade away because the players they have get found out and they don't have the squad to change players around. Watford will finish in the top half... probably but is that enough to get the Arsenal job. We did not expect to be looking at Silva as the next Everton manager we thought our sights were now set higher but the chaos in the club has brought us to this . I think there is a lot of talent in the Everton squad for the right manager and much more money to spend .

How well would Watford be doing if they were missing players like Coleman, Bolasie, Funes Mori, McCarthy and Barkley from their team, would they be able to cope any better than we are. I am not questioning Silva as a manager, but the league is a marathon and not a sprint. We will have most of the players mentioned above back for the second half of the season.

If you look at the squad of players at Watford and at Everton and were given a choice of picking just one which would you pick ?
I think it would comfortably be the Everton squad which a good manager could get playing again as it did last year when finishing seventh. The transfer window is just four weeks away now as well.

We know we are in a mess at the moment, if we were not we would not be looking for a manager, but, there is a lot right at the club with some very good players, some really good youngsters and money to spend.
