Fraudo Silva jumping at the chance to go the Portuguese Sunday League so he never gets found out in a genuine top tier league.

A wise move.

It's funny. Doesn't even have a good half season. Has a good quarter season and is able to parlay that into a better job. Truth be told, I wanted Silva, but it does appear we may have dodged a bullet.

He was smashed out of here by Roydo in double quick time. Wonder what he'd make of our relative league positions now

It was boss getting talked down to by Watford fans for 3 seconds. Makes you appreciate that even though we've had 25 years of absolute gashness, the previous 100 renders Watford pointless for all eternity and will only ever be remembered for

A. Us beating them in the fa cup
B. Them paying an actual fee for T Clevz

Superb Banter from the warriors of Watford

I am not surprised they have agreed to it.

It will save them the pay out when they fire him in a couple weeks.

They must be kicking themselves they turned down our Monopoly money bid for his services.

Looking that way K though I'm assuming when they rejected our approaches and he was understandably fuming, he may have asked for some assurances about if a certsin club comes knocking again they will let him leave.

Let's be honest here, I wouldn't knock him for trying to get out of Watford asap because they change their manager all the time. They really should have took our offer and got themselves a Pulis.

There is also a definite lack of Soton posters at the moment.

It's funny how a run of 8-9 games or a couple of solid seasons gets some of these fanbases forgetting themselves. I've had a look at a few forums when various links have happened but I must admit that the Burnley fans came across OK when the Dyche rumours were around. Although that may be down to them being a small club without a decent active forum.

Southampton with Koeman, Stoke when we were linked with Arnautovic and Watford are all examples of fans who've got delusions about where they stand in English Football compared to us after outdoing us for a few games, or a season or two. What they fail to appreciate is that they haven't got the profile or the resources as a club to be able to sustain any sort of quality team. The same happened with West Ham when they got that 7th placed finish and started talking down at everyone and making out Payet was one of the greatest to grace the English game.

Barring a miracle, 6th or 7th is the best these sides will ever do and it will be a one off. There is no way they would be able to put together the consistent top 7 finishes we did under Moyes or break in to the top 5 or 6. A top 7 finish is admittedly nothing to celebrate for a club of our stature but I appreciate where we are and have been in the last 25 years, and top 4 finishes and winning trophies has been way out of our reach.

Surprises me how some people go along with the delusion so early on too. I remember Ian Wright on MOTD declaring Palace would finish in the top 6 after they beat Norwich on the opening day in 2015 after they put in a good performance. It's only around February/March time when you can figure out if good form is going to amount to anything by May time.

Totally spot on mate.
