Have these 17 days helped to put his methodology across, one game at a time is the way, then assess at the end of the season
If it was 'only Cardiff', then it has to be that the Derby is just another game in the grand scheme of things...hard I know

Which, despite what many knee jerkers (me for one) wanted, this may have been the plan all along
A result would be good, but the performance will tell us more.

We'll finish top half. He's a manager clearing up a mess created by a manager that most of those against him were all in favour of. He is set for season two. Like it or lump it.

You know I'm right.

i think the fa cup is the real shame here, if we had got past milwall(and more than likely wimbledon) then quarter finals and top ten would have been a decent season

I feel after the last derby just a result is needed this weekend. Dont care if we are diabolical on sunday aslong as we get something from the game.

We're probably going to finish between 12th and 7th I reckon

That's not enough to sack him

Is it a good season? No, it isn't, but it's good enough to buy him some time

Surely beating Cardiff takes a bit pressure off but if he is good enough to get this job done he really should overtake Watford and Wolves to get 7th. 4 points away. Change and becoming more fixable like yesterday will only do him good.

That's my point, Ive just told the rs B.i.L. the same, I'll take a flukey win all day long, but in the short term it 'only' gives us 3 pts.( yeah I know, I know)
But the performance tells us He / We may be heading in the right direction...as much as you can from 2 games

Are those 17 days his Kevin Brock moment??

for once neil I concur.

well 7th and an fa cup semi / final would have been great , considering we added two Brazilian forwards to the team

he's a manager who has massively underperformed since the derby

how long are we going to blame the previous regime for managers underperforming?

he's had a FAR easier job than koeman unsworth and fat sam had so lets get it right

He has me foolishly hoping we win the derby and this becomes the turning point of his reign. I hope it happens. That record he has with 3 different teams including us is hard to get over.
