Go and ask chelsea how they feel with their massive trophy collection after changing manager so often.

The fact that we’ve had a lot of managers recently is not the reason we should keep a bad one now. It’s a ludicrous mentality to have that.

Whats a ludricous mentality? theres way more teams treading water / in decline because theyre going through 2 managers a season than there is being successful doing so. you quote 1 team, chelsea. all through their successful years chelsea have had the best squad / one of the best squads in the league, which is why theyve been successful. and because theyve had one of the best squads they attract managers like ancelotti, mourinho, conte, managers who wouldnt come and manage a mid table squad like ours. chelsea currently look miles behind city and rs, despite having a squad not that far behind, and probably the best player in the league. city and rs have both had their current managers for around 3 years, and both of those replaced managers who had also been there for 3 years. when they replaced managers they definitely had someone who was definitely better to come in. we have a mid table squad and are subsequently mid table. constantly sacking managers and expecting things to get better is ludricous mentality.

No you’re spot on. Let’s keep going with a manager who has never proven once he can sort out a mess like this, and is in fact making it worse.

NSNO

Also, paragraphs are ace.

Cycling through managers gets us no where I agree but it's not an excuse to keep someone like Silva who pretty much lost it since December just for the sake of not cycling through managers.

Me too. I’m not over that game yet at all.

It’s odd that people seem to ignore Silva himself saying the target this year was to be better than last year. A fair target I reckon.

That he’s failing horrifically.
Same here.

If he could show he was capable of learning from his bog standard mistakes I would be prepared to see how it goes.

But that isnt going to happen.

As much as i don’t like/rate our manager I hope he turns it round too.

I find it weird when you get the feeling people want us to lose just to prove their point on here.
I dont think anyone wants us to lose to prove a point, they might want us to lose against Spurs and City for obvious reasons, but wanting to lose against for example Cardiff, theres no point.

A draw would be alright, even better if we don't concede.
I doubt there is any intention to change the manager but if the results continue as they have for the last number of games that may change.

So you get home from work this evening, put Sky on and breaking news says he’s gone, would you be a.) surprised; b.) bothered or c.) disgusted? Me? None of those.

Who would come in though I’ve no idea, I think this is why inertia might have set in in the boardroom, they can’t decide what to do, fingers crossed and hoping for the best probably.
