I'm normally the first person to call for the manager's head when things aren't going well, but today was a total aberration. We've actually played well in recent weeks. Even at Anfield we were worth at least a draw. Let's not have a kopite-esque meltdown because of one bad performance.
I'm sorry but that's just patently false. We've been poor since Liverpool.

why does anyone think sacking the boss will help lol, when every time we do,we start again over and over with new players who then need time,we need to stick to one boss-its the players that need to listen,no boss whoever it is,seems to make any difference

Yep. Fixture list order means absolutely everything. Silva has taken 8 points from the last 9 games in a run including games against Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea and Spurs. We have also played Liverpool. Koeman got sacked for taking (yes you've guessed it) 8 points from the first 9 games. He also played City Utd, Chelsea and Spurs. He got sacked for a 5-2 home defeat to Arsenal (equivalent to Liverpool in the run if we are talking big 6 teams).

So my question to all. Same form as Koeman. Worse home defeat against a top 6 team at the end of the run a and similar money spent. What should happen to Silva now if we (as the supporters) and also the owners of the club are being consistent and fair?

We’ve been competitive in every game bar todays whereas under Koeman we were getting routinely ripped apart including in the Europa league

I like to think I’m a pretty calm poster on here. Try to give everyone a good chance. Even Silva, who I never wanted, got a chance. I hate the managerial bull crap and hoped he’d prove me wrong. I stuck by Pickford longer than nearly everyone.

But I can’t have things like today. It’s embarrassing.

But my overall fear right now is that Moshiri will not do a thing because Silva is his boy.
Embarrassing mate it certainly is.

Devastated here

And the point is? They're a mess but they can still hire a guy who's done very well throughout his career and lead a team to the 2nd place finish in Bundesliga. If they can get this type of manager, how on earth we've hired another one who was relegated from the Premier League?
Martinez is a rated manager- I’m not a fan, but he did well enough at Wigan and gave us one great season. The Premier is one of the two top leagues in world football, and managers from other leagues have failed here. The guy Southampton just hired remains to be a proven success here. Silva, who also had continental success did well at first at Hull

Sack him now is just silly. The run of games we have is just daunting for any manager, Hauling the same amount of point for the next 5 games with no visible tactical improvement in the team is another story.

Having said that, he’s not all that. Our passing style is so outdated it looks like watching Football in the 90s. No movement and innovation in our play and it’s very predictable and difficult to watch most of the time.

I can see a lot of teams trying to exploit our high line after today. I fear the worst.
