Some lad mentioned Siggy is knackered but I really won’t take him off. He is essential. We can win out of nothing from the guy.
True say, think he did play poorly tonight though. Things just weren't quite coming off and the frustration was telling.

Siggy is probably the only player in the squad who has a decent shot from distance and can generally just test the keeper, he should be doing this more often imo to keep us on the front foot and give the illusion of pressure to the opposition

whilst i can go along with this, our performances have got nowhere near the points they deserved, i mean again another poor call from the ref is what was the difference between 3 points and the 1 we got. The same can be argued about wolves and bournemouth, the poor calls at arsenal and united again were the same. Arguably Chelsea as well with jorginho's tackle. We definitely deserved a point at anfield as well.

The performances are a positive, but tonight again showed why we desperately need a top striker. Walcott, Bernard and Lookman are all fantastic players, but they don't have that focal point to assist. Neither of the 3 are big goalscorers but they all get us creating a lot of chances. We just fail to make that last ball count and that's mainly due to not having someone like lukaku used to do, getting into the right areas in the box. Tosun's a good finisher who can be useful, but he's not quite at that level we need.

Wolves away- throw away two leads ffs. 2 points.
Bournemouth away - throw away two goal lead thanks to Baines. 2 points.
RS away - madness from Pickford. 1 point.

That’s 5 points.

West Ham at home we were just dreadful the players were on holiday. Huddersfield and Newcastle at home are the same stories. We fail to break them down when they have 10 players behind the ball.

Can't be done over Christmas lid, too many games. Marco did the right thing and it shouldve been enough to beat them

yeah, it's the same as soton in the cup, fans can have a go at him for rotating/resting, whatever, but the simple fact is, we have a good, deep squad, the teams he's putt out in both those games should still have won easily.

I think the confidence of the entire team is absolutely shot.

This showed today as well

Yep the devil played his hand yet again.

God knows what we have done to deserve so much anguish but it stretches back decades, from being champions as Wars broke out, to the European ban and constant cup final and last minute defeats against the mutants.

Very tough to take. :(

The league season is all but done now.

We won't challenge for top 4. We won't go down. If we are to get in the Europa then it needs to be via winning the FA Cup.

We desperately need to win something.

Very concerning that he couldn’t get a reaction out of this lot against one of the league’s worst teams.

I know our squad are a fragile lot, who can’t handle any sort of pressure because they’ll crack, but tonight there was nothing.
Almost everyone in the entire team today has been here less than a year. I count three players that you can use the "the squad is fragile because of the past" excuse. I hate that idea even more than the "Im so proud of our team who played and lost!" crowd.

A disappointing performance and result.I think it just goes to show, that we need to get some more quality into the squad in January. It's back down to earth a bit.But this rebuilding project is still ahead of schedule.

Its Watford ffs.
If the team can't get themselves up and over the last 2 results...with help from Silva obvs, Vs his old team, for what, given the recent history, will be a bit of a grudge match, there's no hope for us no matter who we do or don't sign, then the collective bottlers have won and club is 'ked.
*puts £10 in Delboy to score.
