The problem is, the club has bet so heavily on the Silva/Brands axis that they kind of have to stick and hope for the best.

Personally I think we would move forward much quicker if we reappointed Moyes and Alan Irvine, but things would have to deteriorate pretty dramatically for that to happen. In addition it would probably be quite unpalatable to Moshiri, who seems to like the glamour of appointing vast swathes of overseas operators at the club.

What concerns me is that he isn't adapting to what he has, it's early days and we are without key players. But we aren't seeing out the games we should have won like Bournemouth and Wolves and we are capitualting if we fall below a level. The high line and wingers system with two DMs that don't protect the back four will never work its how we got pummeled with Koeman. He needs to look at picking the best two centre backs for me probably Keane and Zouma until Mina is up to speed. Shake up the middle of the park. Gana as the holder with Davies and Siggy ahead. Bernard on the left and Richarlison up front if we are really going to play this high pressing high line style you need as much pace as you can get. Today looked reminiscent of Koeman and Martinez' s final days. The positives are this isn't our best team and I don't think the international break helped us.

Get in the god damn bin, or back to RAWK, whatever works best for you and take the other clowns calling for Silva's head with you

Ah, the excuses are out. Let’s see what they are in 10 games time.

10 games time we have a fitter, stronger squad, seriously people need to get heads screwed on if they can't see how damaging a glut of injuries/suspensions can do to a squad. Nailed on we don't lose that today with the likes of Mina, Gomes, Coleman and Richarlison in the side

Could someone actually post something about the match.
As in the decisions Silva made?
Injuries or not, he was pretty poor.
Yeah, thought he came out TOO aggressive, left our CBs too exposed, went away from the counter attacking style and tried to high press without the personnel to do it.

Personnel choices were also questionable. Should’ve played Bernard. There was massive space between Gana and Morgan, especially with Siggy pushed higher. Centerbacks forced several passes into Cenk and DCL when they were isolated without support AND at least one of our OUTSIDE backs were already pushed high. Bad decisions all around, however, the players weren’t in good position to succeed from the beginning.

Needs to give DCL a go at centre forward. There’s no point playing him on the left. Imagine playing Tosun on the left, he would look even worse. DCL is better in the air, Faster, Better Linking up and on the ball. It’s a wasted opportunity. He’s a CF, play him CF then judge. My Moyes for Christmas bet is looking better all the time.

He has to fit Bernard and Richarlison in together somewhere.
