When Richardson comes back and you add yerry and Gomez in the mix it might take a couple of months but I bet you the brand of football we are playing is light years ahead of last season. The football we are playing now is better. Pep had a rough 1st season with a superstar squad. Have a bit of faith ffs.
People need to be patient. It's frustrating that we've allowed ourselves to lose today because 9 points from 15 would have been a very decent start given that Spurs, Man United, Arsenal are all only on 9 from 15 too.
But realistically, 7th is the best we are likely to do this season and the competition for 7th is nothing to fear. If any of the other teams in the league had the number of key players injured that we did, they'd be struggling too. There is no point in denying that it's been a disappointing start but the lack of key players available has made a major impact.
If we're still getting results like this with Coleman, Mina, Richarlison, Bernard, Gomes all playing then i'll be concerned. But it will take time for the team to start playing well.
