No-one expects Davek to be uncomplaining. All supporters try and support, especially through barren periods, whether they be 23 years or 23 minutes.
I mean overall and for years past. We are second rate. We last won a trophy 23 years ago. We have second rate players by and large and we have people who have run the club into the ground and a new owner who is obvioulsy not a football person and he's making ham-fisted decisions because of it.
How, in a culture like that, do we expect anyone to be uncomplaining?
Im uncomplaining.
I just go the game, support the 11 clowns on the pitch and our latest fad in the dugout.
Been doing that for longer than 23 years and hopefully the next 23 years.
You're "uncomplaining"? You cant pass that Barkley thread without complaining. lol
I always agree with what Davek says. He is the oracle of good sense and balanced viewpoints.
How bitter by Watford. Surely tapping up is par for the course in almost every move in football. Surprised they sold us Richarlson seeing they're being so petty.
They tapped him from Hull …...if twitter is to be believed …...Watford are just jealous because there too smal a club to tap people
Ah. Dave finding the consensus and quickly formulating the opposite argument.
Just a quick "silva+moshiri" search from you and you talk about how Moshiri will get his man, how Everton wont step away from the pursuit, how we need to play it with more patience and how Moshiri wont meekly walk away and how Watford's threats are idle.
Later, you then demand the club go back in for Silva.
Now though - you're critical of Moshiri pursuing him for so long lollollol
It is but they will be aware we can score a few ourselves. Team not fully formed yet so expects some ups and downsThough that is funny, I do think we need to be slightly pensive
We've conceded 5 goals to Wolves, Southampton and Bournemouth, who are hardly attacking titans. What will happen when we play the likes of City, Liverpool, Spurs and Chelsea who have great attacking players?
It's a genuine concern I feel
But when have you ever had anything positive to say about the club, owner, managers, coaches and stadium?
lol..that’s not how it works. If everyone agreed with @davek , he would shift his stance 180 degrees. For instance, if we all said “wasn’t Bobby a great manager?”, Dave would be arguing in here that he was crap.Think about it! If everyone would agree with him about everything, he might lose any incentive and stop altogether. Just an idea.
The secret is in finding balance. The other team I extend passionate support toward is the All Blacks. They very rarely disappoint/let me down. Everton are the total opposite...they very rarely dont disappoint me.I mean overall and for years past. We are second rate. We last won a trophy 23 years ago.
