We'll see very few footballing autocrats, that's for sure. For this reason, I think Ferguson will come to be regarded as the greatest, for the unique way he imposed his will at almost every level of the club. Even when he wasn't making a decision, it was his men making the decisions. But he was an anomaly we just aren't going to see again, so we need to with it.
I admittedly know very little about Brands but, on the surface of it, himself and Silva look like it could be a good partnership. At the very least, it's nice to see some evidence of a direction and harmony at the club after the shitshows of the last few years
