What's happened to the nice footy we were playing at the start, it was so different from last year it had to be him, so what has happened? That December run has knocked the wind out of them, shattered there confidence and turned them into the frightened rabbits they always prove to be, bottlers.

You have to earn the right to play at this level.

If you are half arsed and not willing to compete physically, then you're going to struggle to play good offensive football.

We didn't want it enough today. Shameful really.

Gomes and Mina weren't ready for 6 weeks.

Goals is still a concern given our options up front.

6 months is still not long to bed in a number of players who have never played in the PL before.

There hasn’t been an ounce of improvement in these six months. Let’s be honest we’ve gone backwards, we have regressed it’s the exact same pattern as Hull and Watford days.

After all the fuss getting him here, not a chance in hell Moshiri is pulling the trigger this year, he'll look like a fool, only way he does it is if we are in real danger of relegation and as crap as we are, we are inconsistent so i'll still bank on us getting easily the required points, so he has to turn it around.

How can you say that when, before the derby, we were flying? Perhaps not in terms of maximum points but we had some swagger. A trait we haven't had for about 4 years.

Bang on. I think this is why this match has made me doubt Silva for the first time.

The side he picked was the right side to send out and one that should perform much better than that but they just seem lost and without direction.

This comes from the manager and he does seem to have form for going through long rough patches.

It wasn't, though.

The right side wasn't the team that were crap for 45 minutes v B'mouth last week.

I'm behind Silva, but he does keep trying the same things again and again.

It's not even hindsight. It's clear that we need to start taking a horses-for-courses approach. Away from home, when we want to get on the front foot, we need to push our entire side on. How you do that is have 3 at the back, with proper wing-backs and three forwards.

It means a hard decision over either Gylfi or Gomes, but whichever one misses out is a great option from the bench. Neither one are playing well enough to demand a start at the moment anyway.

S'ton play 3-5-2. We should have gone to match them up and build from there. It's basic management and he got it wrong today.

That being said, he can't control our players missing simple passes etc.

We’ve been bad since the Liverpool game mate, if the players aren’t listening to him for that long that’s very worrying

There's a difference between listening and doing.

I'm pretty sure the players like Silva. They're just massively inconsistent. Today, the system and tactics didn't help.
