Hearing Dean Saunders saying Everton paid £35m for a player who misses open goals and plays until November.

Says it’s a great deal for Watford and he expects us to struggle this season as he not convinced about Silva.

All the other clowns on BT sport nodding
He was dong this on Friday, even questioned why we bothered with some of the players we got as we wont come higher then 7th anyway in his opinion

It's just classic, old school, English soccer mentality. Still thinking hoofball is fine, still think the manager should do everything, still want to play 4-4-2, still think the English team should win the world cup every 4 years, still think the PL is the best league in the world, just all sorts of silliness. There's a reason none of the top clubs have English managers, anyone with any ingenuity or innovation is scoffed at by bosses and media alike.

To be fair, saunders also said on Thursday that Mina would give us a really solid back line “alongside Ashley Williams and Keane, along with Baines and the Irish lad whose name I can’t remember”

It gets better

The BBC think Lucas Digne is on loan

The thing to remember is their clickbaity vacuous chat means absolutely nothing to anyone apart from their United, Arsenal and Liverpool-supporting subscribers, who can repeat it down the pub this evening to look insightful to their mates. Then tomorrow nobody remembers what they said, including them.

Stuart Pearce then on Talk Sport, went on how great the buys Wolves made in the summer were then when asked about Everton just said they shouldnt of got rid of Sam, said Silva is under pressure to do better and went back to talk about Wolves?

just shows what a [Poor language removed] Pearce is and why he did not make it.

Welcome to everton Marco silva, yeah for some reason we always get [Poor language removed] like that against us v small clubs.

It was probably a red card in all. Jagielka's too old and shouldn't be playing, if Holgate's fit enough for the bench he should be starting ahead of tubby.
