With a team like this, he has to deliver. No excuse whatsoever with lacking quality players.

Lets be fair here...hes had 1 window (which isnt over yet).

Mina + Bernard + Digne + Gomes are from overseas and may need time to settle

Richarlison is 21

Zouma is 1 year back from a very shocking injury

For all the work done, we still lack a top centre midfield (compare ours to chelseas) and a superstar forward even if the new signings all do well.

Utd
City
Chelsea
Spurs
Arsenal
RS

If we can finish 5th or 6th it would be a fantastic achievement. 7th is much more likely...and not to be sniffed at before we continue to rebuild.

What I mean is no reason for him to fail like Koeman and fat sam

Problem is we will all have varying ideas of what he should deliver as a bare minimum.

I just want to see some positive attacking football after two years of absolute muck....for us to have a go in every game no matter the opposition....and basically the signs that there is a plan and we are progressing.

If I see all that I won't be stressing overly on where we finish between 7th and 10th to be honest.....as it difficult to sort everything immediately.

However others will be shouting about demanding we break top 6 and some.... like @GwladysBlue will be talking through their ar.....mpit about champions league.

Spot on mate let's start going the game knowing we are going to get entertained and not worry this season where we finish .
We won't finish top four so top half playing attractive football will do for me.

A talented bunch (now) just up to this bloke to get a tune out of them. Never really seen a manager talked about so fondly by former players

I’ve said several times I rate Silva and when asked on the supporters club coach on our trip to Goodison in March who I wanted to replace the fraudster, I said Marco Silva.

It looks pretty good so far. What’s he had 9/10 weeks to get stuck into the rubbish that we had last season?

I see this as good positive progress. When you consider some on this forum were calling for his head. .......unreal.
