..I agree about changing to a different system, the transformation will take time. The comparison is interesting, though, given Christmas is seen as a key milestone in the season.
though we have not actually moved from were we are, though a chance today we could go down a place or 2,but if liverpool win tomorrow, there probably would not be to many that say we would be 2 points off 6th going into xmasSlipping down the league is seen as progress these days...
Not in my book it dont
I'll be deciding in May because the season doesn't end on Boxing day.
Like for example, we went 4 games without a shot on target and got knocked out 3rd round last January. Things will be up and down between now and the end of the season.
...Allardyce’s Everton had 27 points on Boxing Day last season, we are sitting on 24.
Saying that, I think we have progressed. I seem to recall Silva’s teams being a bit streaky in the past, having winning runs and losing runs.
In 86 pal??Next week is must win.
We should beating teams like Spurs at home.
In 86 pal??
I would say Martinez and Moyes did far better in their first seasons, Moyes taking a near relegated team up to seventh and just missing out on Europe and Martinez just missing out on the Champions League. And neither, Moyes in particular, had anywhere near the same resources in terms of spending.Doing no better than Martinez, Koeman or evens Moyes did in their first full seasons at the club
I really like the guy but certain elements have gone OTT recently
Wait, hang on. Is this true ?
