Obvious improvement on the pitch in both personnel and style, though not in results.

Calling for his head or making a completely negative judgement at this time could only be the work of a complete fool.

We absolutely are. Kills me that we spent £25m on Tosun, that money could have been put towards a quality striker that would really help our team.

Absolutely. But hard to find, I trust in Brands that he can find us one and I have no doubt that we'll buy one in Jan.

Not too arsed today. Was against perhaps the best team in the world at the moment and hinders the RS. NEA.

...Allardyce’s Everton had 27 points on Boxing Day last season, we are sitting on 24.

Saying that, I think we have progressed. I seem to recall Silva’s teams being a bit streaky in the past, having winning runs and losing runs.
But we’ve improved:oops:

Same here. We lost against the best team in the league away from home. We can talk about formations/mental attitude all day long but the fact is they are just much better than us.

Got it all wrong today.

Don't want to try and shoot you down mate, but I think 99% of all fans could say that coming home from The Etihad.

Formation was a gamble with 3 at the back, that said Richarlison scores and we are in front.

We made chances, more than we usually do there. Better finishing and a bit more concentration at the back and we might have scraped a draw.

I think us not taking out chances was the problem, no matter what system you play its gonna be tough there.
