I think he got it wrong last night, but he is getting it right far more then he is getting it wrong. Last night it just didnt fall our way, but i do think we are struggling against poor teams, Newcastle, Huddersfield, Palace we struggled against, we seem to be much better against good team who actually play football, Sunday being a good example

We've had a pop gun attack since Koeman's second summer here, and that was carried on by Allardyce paying an arm and a leg for a jack of all trades, master of none in the shape of Tosun.

I have a feeling Bernard would be a lot more productive if he had a forward playing centrally who knew how to find space. Walcott is a dead loss who wouldn't be able to service Ian Rush in his prime. And though he has a few tricks, I just cant see Lookman as a starter and someone who becomes top class...which is why we should have taken what Leipzig were offering in the summer.

We have completely wasted Richarlison over the last two months.
I don't think we have wasted him, he is nowhere near creative enough to play out wide full time, when he does he just drifts inside anyway. He might get a bit more out of games if he spent a bit less time throwing himself on the ground every five minutes, it's driving me mad at the moment. I know you want us to sign a big name striker but i actually like him upfront and would rather we had some proper wingers supporting him, i don't think Walcott or Bernard are the answer and Lookman is not a starter like you say.

That's why he was so dangerous. He was allowed to get hold of the ball and face the goal. Playing inside as a central striker is too congested for him and he's back to goal a lot.

He has done great at both Watford and Everton out wide and receiving the ball. Leave that well alone and get a proper striker in.

But we haven`t have we ?

In the absence of a competent striker, we`ve had no choice.

Him and Siggy have been the only ones scoring, without those two we`d have been knackered.

He can chip in with as many goals out wide as he can in the central attacking position. What we require is BOTH. We know he can play wide and score; we now need an attacker who can get us 10-12 goals in the second half of this season.

But when he is drifting inside that's great, but because of the way we play Digne is also forward and that leaves a huge gap down that side of the pitch, that's all. I would rather he played down the middle and we build on partnerships on the wings rather than leave big gaps. He has the touch of goalscorer/poacher type, id be quite happy with him in a free role anywhere up top tbh.

Yet Brazil choose to play him up front too ???

He isn't a central striker, never in a million years. He hasn't got the movement of a player who can roam across the back four sniffing a space nor does he have the predatory nature of a goal poacher.

Why fix something that's not broken?

They play three up front who all have the same game. They interchange. Everyone is central and no one is central. We dont play like that.
