Allardyce on Talksport this morning giving him an absolute pasting about his track record and saying he has no right to be in the Everton job. Good to see he isn't bitter.

This is the first time since the invention of the internet that I’ve got genuinely excited about the managers press conference. I used to check in when certain stuff was going on like transfers and injuries. Now though I look forward each week to seeing what Marco has to say.

Tbf to him everytime it looked like we were going to establish ourselves someone would take our best player.

Man City taking Lescott changed his demeanour. We had been superb that season, during a period when Chelsea and United were the best teams in Europe not just England. Ended up with 4 serious injuries that cost us the FA Cup. No wonder he lost fight.

Apart from Roberto's first season, we have been a shambles for years, with a defeatest attitude.

Silva, (along with Brands) appears to be the first since that period 07-09 to appear to have the determination and plan to get us back to that point.
This time with the finances to stay there.

Seems to be doing everything right. He seems to have managed all of the new signings great and all of a sudden we have a fully fit squad with everyone in good form. When was the last time you could ever say that about Everton?
