No I’m not saying that, what are you going on about? Your form table is meaningless, you might as well be saying Allardyce would’ve finished 6th if he’d been given he full season. Spoiler: he wouldn’t.

You are the exact type of fan that makes many of us want to stay away from Goodison altogether. The atmosphere is poisonous because of people like you. Impatient, self-entitled brats with delusions of grandeur, expecting success spoonfed on a silver plate and more interested in being able to tell everyone you were right instead of wanting the best for the team. Don’t give the “ambition” nonsense either, if given the choice between seeing Silva sacked in November with us 18th or finishing 4th and winning a cup with him as manager, you’d 100% choose the former.
As a season ticket holder of over 20 years, I can tell you that I want us to win a trophy more than anything. You don't know me, pal. Stop being so melodramatic because somebody doesn't agree with you. A few months ago, I wouldn't have you down as this type of poster.

I didn't like him either, but we're stuck in this circle of hiring average managers. Things will only change if we throw real money at a top manager. That's what's we need to do. The time we pay our inevitable tapping up fine and then the compensation to Silva when we sack him, you're looking at £50m+ all on hiring and firing average managers. Would rather have made Conte, Blanc, etc the highest paid manager in World football to take us to the next level. That's what we were led to believe that Moshiri wanted for the club.
It's how you attract the players you want too.

We're a club with the 11th most expensively assembled squad in World football and some are saying 10th is good enough.

Every club has expectations that need to be met.

Ah, but you say we're crap, let's keep with that thinking and accept it.

Call yourself a supporter of this club. Pathetic attitude to have.

Find one person who has said 10th is good enough, go on i dare you

There is absolutely nothing to suggest that even if we did this, that a top manager would'nt have the same issues. The problem with Everton is we have a bunch of very average players, most of them have little or no fight in them and need to be shipped out. Any manager whether it's Silva or Conte would need at least a few windows to sort out the rubbish in the squad at the moment before they started making any impression on the league. On a side note Conte has a nasty habit of falling out with everyone wherever he has been, i would'nt want him anywhere near here tbh, he is the Italian Roy Keane.

Reservations? He’s literally calling for his head after 6 games, that isn’t a “reservation”. I’m a fan that has reservations, I didn’t want him in the first place based on his previous record, but I’m fully behind him as manager of Everton until I see a valid and fair reason not to be.
I wasn't specifically talking about Gwladysblue, Shouting for him to be sacked now is a bit extreme but it's his opinion, the sad thing for me is he'll prob be proven right in the end. If you have reservations about Silva why be so openly defensive of him? the only thing going in his favour for me is that Richarlison looks like a player. Apart from that so far it feels like I'm eating the same turd butty I've been served for the last 30 years bar the odd ingredient and style it's being served in. I'm not feeling anything different that makes me want to blindly back this Silva and defend him to the hilt, I'm to long in the tooth for that.

I should rephrase that - you come across as that type on this forum. It’s not just you either, it’s a very large chunk of the fanbase. I despise going to Goodison these days mainly because of our fans, Twitter is the same, infested with clueless blerts who unfortunately shout the loudest because so many of us have become apathetic.

I don’t know how we became so entitled and impatient, maybe we think throwing money around automatically makes you entitled to success but the simple fact of the matter is, if it’s been spent by an idiot on absolute turd then it doesn’t. We were, and still remain, absolutely miles off being able to compete at the top and one manager cannot possibly change that in 4 months.

stop talking sense!

nah mate, carry on...weird some of the stick you're getting but don't mind them.

We all saw in pre-season this is going to take time. 11 injuries so far this season, we haven't played the same back 4 twice in a row, etc. Pre-season was showcasing the absolute drivel to try and get them out of the club, which we have largely done, albeit some of them temporarily.

Mina to come in, Coleman back, McCarthy as a midfield option, Lookman to make a contribution, Tosun to start firing/Richarlison to play centrally... and DCL to never play again... Learn to defend set-pieces, show some leadership, etc etc It will come good, have faith.

Coleman Mina Zouma Digne
Gueye McCarthy
