I called him out while he was at Watford actually. But he is our manager now and pretty much none of what’s happened at the start of this season is on him, so I’m not being hysterical just yet. I only ever judge fairly.

I honestly think that the new players are on board with the manager tactics and the rest are either going through the motions or not "buying in".
Silva has a long tough transition on his plate - the fans have to stick with him but this club needs to develop a culture of professionalism from the top down.

I am sick and tired of club players putting tools down season after season because they are on long well paid contracts who think they can call the shots. The club has to develop a long term professional culture that is sustaining which translates into players (employees of the club) who do as there told and to there best of there ability, day in day out.

None of us put our tools down in work because we don,t agree with our boss or company - we know the score, we turn up and do our job professionally....so should the players.

All the worse when you look over at Liverpool and see the work rate from their players every week...

The sheer numbers of dross made it impossible to ship them all out in one window. We did far better than anyone could have expected, but still clearly another 8-10 to go.

Mina & Gomes injuries haven’t helped, plus Richarlison suspension & Bernard needing time. Get those 4 in & we should do better until the Jan window.
Hopefully 3-4 quality players lined up to come in & any bad apples shipped out.
