Lad you’re boring... why bother going if you feel like you do.

Because ive been going the games all my life so I guess its just a routine. The good times are obviously great but even when we were crap you atleast had a manager who you could get behind (Royle, Moyes) or players who would give it their all (cahill, carsley) and heck even the odd sprinkle of quality (Lukaku, Arteta, Felli, Stones)

But these last 2 seasons have really knocked the stuffing out of me, just some reasons:

1. players who couldn't give a toss and barely showing effort - Digne and Richarlison aside I wouldn't miss any if they left tomorrow.

2. A dull monotone manager who the majority knew wasnt good enough currently having us on a horrendous run playing Alladyce lite football. Letting Klopp take the pee in the derby running on the pitch said everything about this fella - for all Moyes' faults he would have grabbed Klopp by the scruff of the neck for that as would any half decent manager who gave a damn.

3. An owner whos recruited garbage (Koeman, Walsh, Alladyce, Silva) and has now put the wallet away. Add to that his disgusting comments on 'expected losses' and we wonder why we never turn up against the top 6 and have a weak mentality.

4 Same problems at the club like no Lukaku replacement near 3 seasons after he left.

5. Goodison itself being dead and a drab experience/atmosphere compared to years gone by.

6. Disgraceful showings in the cups as usual.

7. No leaders on or off the pitch.

8. Kopites actually being a good team and having everything we are missing - good recruitment, top striker, leaders on the pitch, quality manager who also shows passion.

So yeah mate the season being over in January and no new striker signed to give some excitement mixed with all of the above is why I couldn't really care results wise until the seasons end.

This club is toxic at present and I pity those who invest so much into it because they'll do nothing but ruin your weekends and have you constantly in a bad mood. When the club get their act together and start giving something back maybe Goodison will get its spark back as we are broken as a club right now.

Sadly its fans like you who are part of the problem, you cant see it, nor will you accept it, but im sorry to say, its ALL on you.

Lets be honest the atmosphere saturday will be dead unless we are losing and it'll be the usual chorus of boo's.

The vast majority (myself included) who turn up saturday will be doing so out of apathy and to get away from the missus and shopping for the afternoon.

Sorry if thats offended the super fans behind their keyboards.

Maybe the useless tosspots infesting this club will finally give one of the best and loyal fanbases in this country something to finally cheer about next season - I'll not hold my breath.

As said the highlight of our season will be trying to prevent that lot from an open top bus parade around the liver buildings. Have a think about that.
Spending your time and money on something you so obviously despise seems an odd way to occupy your free time.

So if you had a wife who constantly forgot your birthday, turned up to evenings out late, let you down, embarassed you constantly, showing no effort or appreciation despite you always being there.

Your telling me you would still be head over heels?

I'll always love this club as its a massive part of my life, half of my arm and shoulder is covered in its crest and motto and ive spent probably more on season tickets over the years than I have anything else in life - however I like many others are simply fed up of the lack of effort from everyone from top to bottom.

The only thing im proud of at this club at present is EITC which says it all.

Do I care what super fans on a football forum think? No as I'll be there saturday - its just a shame a very good portion there will be feeling the same apathy hence the absolute death atmosphere.

Jesus! You seriously need to walk away from Everton F.C., this relationship is of no benefit to either party.
For your own sanity and wellbeing make a change, take up train spotting.
And stay clear of sharp objects.

I take the point about the wife analogy, you can’t kick the hell out of a football club unfortunately.

In fairness it's usually your wife's heels over her own head as she gets routinely sandwiched between burly fellas riding her bareback.

There's an Everton analogy in there somewhere I think.

Hahahahaha so Silva is getting moaned at for Klopp running on the pitch! What Weird fans we have.

How about get behind the manager for a change

I'm right behind him mate, ready to kick his arse after 15 minutes when we are 1-0 down tomorrow

Silva really was well within his rights though to chin Klopp.

I tell you what, if he had that would have galvanised the team, seeing the gaffer taking a 20 match ban for them would have fostered a great team spirit

You think Moyes would have sat there and let him make a show of us?

Could you imagine Poch or Emery letting the other do that in the north London derby? Or Mourinho or SAF let a rival manager do that in the Manchester encounters?

Thats just a small example of a big problem we have - absolutely no leader on or off the field.

I want to see my manager grab that gurning tit and drag him off the field, I want my captain on the pitch bollocking the players and getting in the oppositions faces.

Add in Moshiri's expected losses comment and its a grand old team led by mouses. Not an ounce of pride in anyone associated at present and anyone saying differently has simply had to many years under Kenwright and church mouse Jags to remember what having leadership really looks like.
