I wouldn't be in the least bit surprised if he just saw the name José and thought "yea you'll do".

Havent followed Dumfries tbh since he went to Inter but checking stats he's played in 8/9 league games and 3/3 CL games with 2 assists so far.

I expected Brands to be signing more of these types and your Branthwaites from lower leagues.

If weve freed up £5mil for Jan then surely you offer £15-25mil for Livramento...its covered on the books.

In theory we need a new defence from the lack of right back or back up left back to the only two 'long term' players in terms of potential being Godfrey and Branthwaite.

I doubt Southampton sell even for good money, there’s no benefit to them by selling in jan, unless it’s a ridiculous offer
