It would be a very surprising move having just given him a 3 year deal. I wonder what has changed? Other than a poor managerial choice.

He's a technical director so can be fired at any point.

It was Bill who gave him. A new contract wasn't it, Moshiri simply signed off on it.

How Everton is it that we are (hopefully at least) about to sack the most useless DOF that has ever existed just after he’s signed a new contract with us in the summer (that he absolutely did not deserve in any way, shape or form) and so we’ll now have to pay him compo.
