If he can keep getting the players ancelotti wants then I don't see an issue with him being here. I am happy for him to doss about the place most of the year and just deliver when the manager names his players. It's worked for Allan and Rodriguez so far because brands would still have had to sell the club to them when negotiating. I hope he pulls another boss deal out next month and it turns us into a top 4 team this season.

The difference between 9th and 14th is about 10 million.
As a spectator, watching a bang average team who finish 9th and a bang average team that finish 14th means nothing to me. The RB needed to move us from 14th-9th would cost more than 10m even before wages
It's obviously not the difference we want to be talking about, and in the grand scheme of things I agree it means nothing, but last season the difference between 9th and 14th was 11 points. As a spectator, i'd have quite liked to have seen the extra 3 wins and 2 draws to get those points.
