Unfortunately for Everton Dave, our bunch of ‘sellers’ is so colossally dreadful and so obscenely well paid, that I have more chance of selling my love to attractive women that Mr B has of offloading them. I think we have to accept that at least 20% of our squad will be unsellable deadweightsfor the next couple of seasons.

Tbh, I dont care what order it comes in as long as it's done early this summer. And yes, I dont expect to see the kind of net spends we saw in the last two summers. As long as Brands gets value for money selling 6/7/8 players that may not impact on us too much.

This is too high a bar to set with the group of players we need to offload.

Think most of us realise we’re gonna take painful hits on the likes of Bolasie, Tosun, Walcott, Schneiderlin.

Lookman, Vlasic and Henry (if we sell) will likely bring in some cash.

If we get the right players for the right positions in, and the above (and others) out, I think we need to look the other way on money generated this summer.

Yes, we're above (due to Koemageddon) where we should be in the wages league for the PL, and it needs lowering. But that doesn't contradict the statement made.

Yes, but we know for certain how inflated the prices are right now and that mediocre players WILL go for decent cash. That's just observing and acknowledging a trend.

No PL experience. Which is my point. If someone with no experience in the top flight is going for that crazy cash, there's no excuse for Barnds to be giving our players away.
