Seriously mate, don't fall for it. It's a calculated ruse to win attention at all costs and to draw people ever further into his universe.

He actually believes his negativity is a positive thing, in so far as it clearly demonstrates that he only wants the best for Everton, so never misconstrue his barking about DCL (or any Everton player) as anything other than benign encouragement. The real problem with Everton is all those people with a more positive outlook, they are the ones who foster mediocrity, apathetic as they are to the demands of posters like our Dave who have higher standards than the rest.

It is telling that the only occasion I have witnessed Dave call for positivity from his flock was when some posters started to accuse the club of institutional racism, that prompted an immediate put down and a demand that we accentuate the positive, I wasn't sure what to make of it but kept me awake all night.

I've watched him this season loads of times. None of our 3 RBs are great at defending; only one is capable of attempting it and beiong effective going forward: Kenny.

Cant agree more...he should have got the sack at same time than Silva...I am not sure what has he done for the club. Got lucky in Holland and suddenly he is an amazing director of football...until he is gone we will not be challenging for champions league football let alone trophies...
