this. he may be moody but not to Drenthe-esque proportions, and he produces on the pitch for the majority of the time, and most importantly, HE'S FREE. why are we not making him an offer/ we surely have freed up some wages with the players we have released since January.

I know it will never happen but Fernandes and Drenthe on free transfers would make us so much better going forward.

Twice?. Fair enough Valencia came in at the last minute and no doubt offered him more money and he went there but Moyesy cant of been that pissed off about it cos he took him back on loan after all this happened!.
For free its a no brainer, seems to of matured over in Turkey and done well there apparently. We know what he's capable of and he's at an age now where Moyes can turn him in to a consitant performer and we could do with his creativity in midfield IMO, he'll certainly look to play through balls to Jelavic when he's clever and makes those runs in behind!.

Only months leading up to his second loan he'd just got back from a bad knee injury and wasnt fit when we signed him, hence why he didnt start many games and looked off the pace, the last couple of games he showed glimpses of his talent but it was too little, too late.

And usually players like that cost a bomb, he's got that and is free! And he's grown up and matured now and done well for a few years over in Turkey, isnt it about time you all moved on from his second stint at us and gave the lad a chance?. We may or may not sign him, relaible people on twitter think a deal for him this summer IS likely so IF we do sign him, forget the past and get behind him cos he is quality!.

I bet Jelavic would too! Too many times he makes runs and gets ignored, Manny would pick him out all day long!. Didnt Moyes say before the season was out that he wanted to bring in creativity in the summer, Fernandes on a free who fits that bill and Moyesy knows so, would be a no brainer, IF he wanted to come, but like ive posted, someone, who's usually reliable, thinks its possible, and when asked on twitter if he'd ever play for us again, Manny himself said "maybe one day".
So who knows, be nice if it could happen!.
