LD is a winner. And given how short his stay with Everton was, ya'll didn't get to see all he can do. I dream of how effecive and dangerous he could be for the Toffees given time to really, really gel with the team and for the manager to use him to all his strengths. He's a very intelligent player.

I am really hoping the Galaxy win the MLS Cup this year and that they can get some kind of assurance of signing Ronaldhino or another big name. If one or both of those things happen, I think they'll be more inclined to let LD go.

Thanks for the info, lcab. Despite City trying shenanigans, I truly believe if Everton can come up with the money, LD would sign in a heartbeat. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

And here's to hoping Everton start turning things around. With where they are, the only way to go is up!

All I was saying was , we , imo , NEED Landy . HE , WANTS to come , but we need to have something to put on the table - short / medium term , when the time comes around , ( NOT TOO long now , as it goes ) . Man City would almost certainly block it if they thought themselves able . Thus , we ned to remove them from the equation by an imminent and inexorable rise up the Goddamned League !!!

I thought of him mate, but was tinking he played more on the left, anyone remember Peter Degn (prob not) young Danish full back who we played a lot of cash for at time, who almost never played for us. Only Steve Simonson bettered him in terms of value for money.
