They’ve managed to stay within PSR limits by making the most of exemptions and adjustments, even with their big operational losses. It just shows how pointless the PSR rules can be, where what you spend money on and what you can write off can make a huge difference in whether a club stays compliant or not.

So we manage to maintain a positive return on transfer dealings for years, and get 10 points worth of deductions... Meanwhile Utd have huge operational losses, have massive negative numbers relating to transfer dealings (so easily showing where their losses are), and they can somehow sweep it under the carpet?

Most of the signings made for silly money have been horrendous and in a lot of cases unnecessary...
Onana for 60+ million, could easy have gone for a pope, sels etc, could have even got pickford in the period we had to sell richy and gordon....
Hell even gordon for half of antonys price would have been an improvement...
Going big for Branthwaite instead of ego buys like de ligt would have solved a lot of your problems too

Hey listen i have nor argument with your analysis , the problem we have had in recent years is that idiots like woodward , arnold etc have been in charge and they know nothing about football , they made some awful signings and paid obscene amounts , that with no upgrade on the stadium all points at the true criminals the parasite glazers and now their lackey the rat doing their dirty work , these filth are still taking dividends out of the club it adds up to fraud and grand larceny , now the fans and the staff are paying the price , people can laugh if the want but most of us know we have no divine right to win anything , this is a different issue this is American Capitalism at its very worst
