Lets see if the players down tools again like they did against Arsenal
I was just thinking that.

I really hope not. Arsenal was just the worst performance since Walter Smith was here. No shape, no tactics, and what was the absolute pits, there was no fight, desire, passion or hunger from the players.

Even at times when we've had players of questionable talent, if they pull their finger out we'll be happy (Straqualersi, Kilbane and perhaps Naismith* for example), but Arsenal may as well have been playing the kit bins. That's unforgivable for an Everton side and if it happens two games on the run, someone needs to have a word, seriously. I'm not just aiming this at the manager, the players cop for the blame for that too.

I really really hope beyond hope that we can pull a result off today, more for the morale club at the moment.

*personally I'd have kept him, but that's another thread

that's probably the most Damning paragraph I've read on this forum in a long long while.

Tbf if the fans are tired of the manager it's hard to expect the players not too be, especially if they have to play to tactics/in a system that they probably know won't work.

Line up for today?

Robles
Coleman Jags Mori Baines
McCarthy Besic
Lennon Barkley Cleverly
Rom

Let's set aside all the chat of managers and players getting off
Game on. Beat these Everton!

Have a reminisce on this lids, we'll be having some of this today.

PMSL @ the "Hit it ya Nobhead..." 30secs in lol

I'll be honest, if we don't win AND play very well today I forecast an almighty fume, levels of which have never been seen before.

I hope that doesn't occur.....
